About
Dr. Cristina Allen ND
Guided by nature and subculture, and rooted in the belief that healthcare should be autonomous, I introduce a unique adventure for the mind, body, and spirit. Providing holistic experiences in health care and education, with genuine hospitality.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, my goals are to provide patients with integrative lifestyle and environmental medicine, educate, and heighten patients’ self-awareness so that they can build positive practices that fit their lifestyle and are long-lasting.

More About Cristina
By establishing an authentic relationship with patients, learning health history and current lifestyle, determining the root cause of the complaints, and treating to encourage long-term optimal health.
My four-pronged approach to healthcare is simple:
1. Consider the individual as a whole
2. Empower and inspire through education
3. Apply sustainable and lifestyle medicine treatments
4. Promote prevention as the key

Treatments are a blend of modern, evidence-based medicine and traditional modalities, focusing on nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and IV therapy; individualised and backed by functional medicine testing intelligence.
I’m a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada's leading institution for naturopathic medicine. I’ve completed additional pharmaceutical prescribing certifications and training to prescribe bio-identical/Menopause hormone therapy, natural desiccated thyroid, intravenous therapy and injections. I’ve also completed specialty training in paediatrics and fertility. I’ve also worked extensively as a consultant in the medical cannabis industry.

I am passionate about our earth and often provide workshops on the impacts of climate change on health, permaculture, foraging wild Ontario, and seasonal healthful eating. The interplay between all of this and our health fascinates me.

I am also an explorer, chef, and creative. I primarily live off-grid and enjoy participating in activities like open-fire local cooking, swimming in Georgian Bay, snowboarding, and fly fishing. I have had several art shows in Toronto, played in various bands, and written about the importance of integrating health with nature.
I welcome patients to a practice where a science-based approach that honours traditional medicines is combined with a depth of experience, to ensure a healthful and climate-resilient future.
