About
Dr. Maggie Pattillo, ND.
Life At Work
In my practice, I have particular interest and experience in working with gut concerns, energy complaints, hormonal imbalances, and anything related to inflammation (autoimmunity, allergies, and chronic inflammation - the root of most modern-day diseases). Through in-depth interviewing and lab testing I use my medical expertise to uncover the problem(s) and work together with my patients to apply evidence-based solutions.
When I’m not working with patients you can find me reading up on the most recent research and giving talks on health and wellness to businesses, schools, and community groups. I am a fervent believer that education is a fundamental stepping stone towards better health which is why companies including Intuit, Aritzia, and General Mills have invited me to speak on topics ranging from stress management to sleep, diet, and women’s health. Sharing what I’ve learned about our bodies and the root causes of disease—whether with patients or audiences—is something I am passionate about.
Life Outside Of Work
I grew up playing any and every sport, but eventually fell in love with ski racing. I raced my way up the ranks and spent 2 years as a member of the Canadian National Ski Team. I credit my experience in sports with my desire to learn more about the mind/body connection, which eventually led me into the world of health care.

Life at home is LOUD. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am a mom to 4 wild and crazy kids and a wife to one big kid. I understand firsthand the pressures of trying to “do it all.” I fill up my own cup (so to speak) by carving out time with friends, laughing with my husband Linn, running the local trails, digging in my veggie garden, and practising the art of telemark skiing—a cross between downhill and cross-country.
Experience
Naturopathic Career Moves
In 2011 I began my naturopathic practice on the East coast and was co-owner of Halifax Naturopathic Health Centre. After 5 fun-filled and busy years, my husband and I decided to return to Ontario (where I grew up) to raise our family in Collingwood, a place that had been tugging at my heartstrings since my childhood ski days.Since 2017 I’ve been treating patients throughout the Southern Georgian Bay area (and virtually all over Ontario) and in 2023 I joined the team at Be Well Collingwood.
